Retreat Centers

Welcome to St. Aloysius Retreat Centers! We have two retreat houses in our property: Saint Joseph’s House and Margherita’s House. Our Margherita’s House has just been reconstructed. This building has 9 double rooms with bathrooms, handicapped accessible, ramp and elevator, big conference room. The St. Joseph’s House has 13 double bedrooms with 6 full bathrooms to be shared. There are two other big dormitories for larger groups. One dormitory has 8 beds and the other 10. The St. Joseph’s House is not handicapped accessible. It is our hope that in the coming year, with the financial support of friends like you, we will be able to begin its reconstruction to accommodate more people and to meet their needs. Blankets, sheets and towels are provided for each retreatant.

Retreatants are required to pre-register with a non-refundable deposit of $20.00 per person in order to reserve their places. Retretants are asked to arrive no later than 8:00 p.m. Upon arrival they will sign-in. Each group is required to bring its own retreat director. The parking lot is located behind the St. Joseph’s House. After unloading their belongings, retreatants are asked to come out of the main driveway, make a right on Beekman Road and another right on Pells Road. Parking lot is at the end of Pells Road.

The schedule of meals for weekend retreats is as follows:

  • On Friday evening, refreshments are served at 7:00 p.m.

  • On Saturday, three meals are served at 9:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

  • On Sunday, two meals are served at 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Adjustments can be made to this schedule if needed. The Sisters provide all the meals.

No smoking is permitted in any of our buildings. No pets are allowed, unless it is a service dog.

Fees for various retreats

  • For weekend retreats the fee is $170.00 (this includes the $20.00 non-refundable deposit).

  • For longer retreats the fee is $70.00 per day

These fees help cover for the expenses of: food, electricity and maintenance. Thank you for your cooperation!
